I do not have a manual to my jeep. This morning I was driving the jeep and the check gauges light came on. When coming to a stop, I noticed my oil gauge had dropped all the way down. Then when driving it went back to normal. Any idea what the problem could be, fuses?

Hello,

Frist of all please make sure your oil level is correct.
Second thing is that you could have a faulty pressure sensor, which giving incorrect data.
Does the engine run any different than usual? Any strange noise?

It's likely not any fuse.

Here is a helpful article on oil pressure:

I would also recommend checking the oil pressure to make sure it is a faulty sensor and not a pump.

At idle the engine should be at 4 PSI of pressure.

I have attached the pressure sensor location and replacement as well as pressure testing procedure for your vehicle.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you.
