Hello good afternoon, I am not getting anything off the car ignition when I turn the key for the car to start, however when I use a screw driver to bridge the starter at the bottom of the car it starts. Do you know what Is causing that to happen? If yes can you give me a solution please? Thank you.
NB
Please note that the car is a crash car that I am trying to fix.

Hello,

There is a starter relay in the front fuse panel that needs to be checked. Here is a guide to help us get started the relay location and the starter wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

Please check the fuses as well.

Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Cheers, Ken

Hello, this is a follow up question from the one that I posted before. So I checked all the fuses and they are okay. The battery in the car is a new working one. The car is still not cranking or starting. However, the security system/alarm system is not working. Can you tell me how to get it working again? I think that is causing the vehicle to not crank or start. What are your thoughts? Please help. Thanks.

Thanks for the video. We need to go over the power and grounds for the security system to make sure it is working. Here is a guide and the wiring diagrams to help you see how the system works and where to test:

Yes, you do need to program the remote to the car which a shop or dealer must do.
