I have a problem with my engine getting hot and over heating and losing coolent. I had it to a mechanic and he said it was just low on coolent other than that fine. Well I have to add water or coolent to it every morning now. I dont see any visible leaks on the ground or coming out of any hoses. My question is where is the water going and why is the car getting hot?

The best way to find out get it block and pressure tested-Your losing coolant its going somewhere could be burning in the combustion chamber caused by a blown head gasket or an intake leak. Check the oil is it milky colored. This guide can help us fix it.
