My car is currently getting 12.77 miles per gallon, and I was thinking that it may be a vacuum leak; because when I turn the engine off it hisses as though air is escaping. What type of hoses do I use to replace existing vacuum hoses? Is there a diagram available so that I can see where they are all located on my car? Thank you for your time in helping me with my issue.

All the small ruber hoses are vacuum lines (there aren't many) But it can leak from gaskets as well.

The easiest thing to do is get a propane tank, open it up and place it beside the intake manifold and move it around with the engine on. If you find the leak, the idle will rise up.

Thank You F4I_guy!

I don't hook up this propane tank to anything? I just place it beside the intake manifold?
