1990 Civic DX electrical issues

I have a 1990 Civic DX manual trans w/ 170K miles on it, in otherwise decent health.

Sorry if this seems long, but here's the history: Over the last several months, my electrical issues have really evolved. At first, my coolant temp gauge started acting weird (jumped around a lot), and then died, so I replaced the sensor. It didn't fix anything. Then, my TPS started acting weird after driving for 15 minutes. It basically stops registering the throttle position and the check engine light goes on. As soon as I turn off the car and turn it back on again, its fine for another 15 minutes. I can restart the car while its moving since its a manual, but this is starting to grow old. I replaced the ECU thinking that would solve all my problems. It didn't do anything. I added redundant grounds on several points on the engine to make sure there is no voltage irregularities - this hasn't helped.

Just recently, my radio doesn't turn on (the screen flashes but doesn't do anything). When I use the turn signal to indicate left, the "door open" light blinks (and the radio blinks at a different frequency). When I turn right, everything is fine. If I plug a device into my cigerette lighter, the "door open" light comes on again. My TPS still dies after 15 minutes and I haven't read my coolant temp in months. What do I do now (besides retire the car)?

Keep turning right! Problem solved.

You have an extremely tough one to diagnose. Your vehicle is suffering from a short is a wiring harness. You can get lucky and find it right away or never find it but two wires are shorting out.
