just got this car with 183,000 miles, had a little trouble starting then it sputtered a little and check engine light came on and it ran smooth. started to drive but rpm was halted at 3000 or so and bog down occured. if i shift just prior to 20,30,40,50 mph it does fine but a little weak. Please let me know what to do next. plugs, wires, cap and rotor didn't help, and i am new to honda cars, so be gentle to me, its my first time! thanks alot, i am sure you will hear more from me in the future.

sorry it took so long to write back, i work alot.
as far as i can tell, if you mean the blinking led on the passenger floor, it is in repetion of 8 blinks that seem equal length. oh, and i made a mistake on the motor, it is a 1.5. hope this helps the diagnosis, thank you very much. JOHN
