Hi there,

It sounds like your brake master cylinder is by passing fluid internally. What happens is that one of the pressure cup may have failed and as you apply pressure the fluid is passing the cup and returning to the reservoir, so there is no visible fluid loss and poor pedal pressure results. A new master cylinder is the answer.
