I recently found out that when replacing the EGR valve, the port has to be cleaned where it attaches to the engine block. Can someone please tell me specifically how that is done (with a drill?). Where do I get the specific tool I would need to perform that function?

This is to clean out the carbon deposits.

Hi roseduke,

There was a TSB on the problem and maybe you can try googling to see if you can get the repair procedures.
