My stop light/Brake light is always on. I don't know if it is the brake pedal switch or the coil hooked to the drivers rear assembly. How do I find out which to replace?

Hi hondo941,

Quite often it is the tiny stopper rubber on the brake pedal support that has given way resulting in brake switch remianing in turned on position.

Move the seat as far back as possible and crawl under dash to have a look at the switch. Use a card board to place it between the switch and pedal and if brake lights goes off, the switch is ok, replacing the stopper should do the trick.
