High idle speed on cold start up?

Thanks for your prompt response. I top the oil with 1 liter of oil every week after servicing. This I have not been doing to the car before, I feel something is wrong. No leakage, not smoking. Somebody suggested the that I change the rings. Could that be the problem? Please I need an expert advise. Thank you.

If you are using a fully synthetic oil this may contribute to the oil consumption, what are you topping up with and what was used in the last oil change?

If you needed rings I would think it would be smoking and the smell of burning oil so I would make sure the pcv system is working.
