2003 GMC Sonoma 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 65000 miles

Ran out gas an engine will not start, can this be a vapor lock and how can I fix?

Replace the fuel filter and check the fuel pressure with a gauge calibrated for your fuel system and then report back

Its probably the fuel pump burned up-no fuel cooling it down and calls it quit
