I have a 1984 ford tempo that was working fine, then it stalled some times and now it wont start. It cranks, but the engine will not turn over. I checked to see if fuel was going to the carburator, and it was. Then I checked for a spark, and no spark was coming from the engine. This car has a distributor cap and points. What is worng with my car? cry:

Check your ignition fuse-then power to the coil-
okay therr-regap the contact points on the high side of the lobe

BTW I don't think! an 84 Tempo has a conventional ignition system-most likely its the ignition control module. On a SSI/EEC systems.
