No, a Powertrain Control Module (PCM) from a 2001 Ford Taurus SE OHV will not work if you put it in a 2003 Ford Taurus SES DOHC. The two cars have different engine types and use different PCMs that are not interchangeable.

The 2001 Ford Taurus SE OHV has a 3.0L OHV (Overhead Valve) engine, while the 2003 Ford Taurus SES DOHC has a 3.0L DOHC (Dual Overhead Cam) engine. The PCM in each vehicle is specifically programmed and calibrated for the engine type, fuel system, and emissions equipment in that particular car.

Swapping a PCM between two different engine types and models is not recommended and is likely to cause issues with the vehicle's operation. If you need to replace the PCM in your 2003 Ford Taurus SES DOHC, you should obtain a replacement PCM that is designed specifically for that vehicle.
