2001 Ford Taurus SEL - hesitation/lurching while idling

Monday I started my car and my car has a new issue. I can best describe it as ALMOST stalling. It mainly happens while idling - the car hesitates, lurches, and feels like its going to stall but doesn’t. The lights will dim when this happens too. Its pretty intermittent. I took it in yesterday and $800 later - its still a problem! They are looking at it again right now.

So far they've done a diagnostic, replaced the sparkplugs, wire set, gas filter, air filter and EGR valve.

If anyone cares - got a call that it was a bad connection with the EGR valve. They has fixed the issue - at no extra cost to me. Yea.

I take it back - when I went to pick it up - it was still having the problem. I sat in the car with the mechanic and he said "oooooooooooooooh, now I see"

anyway he said whatever it is I dont have to pay for it. I will post the problem/fix when I hear word.

Just got the call that is was the "Coil Pack" (delivers electricty?) I'll see how it is when I pick it up.
