2005 Ford Ranger stalling

Engine stalls while idle, when in park wont rev over 3000 rpm. Replaced fuel filter and added gasoline additive. What should I check next?

Best way to start is to get the codes from the computer read. Once we have the codes, we can better advise.

Has there been any work done to the truck just prior to the stalling?
