My emergency brake warning light came on during my commute to work this morninng. I pulled up on the pedal and pulled the release and the light did not go off. I was wondering what this could be, are my brakes dragging, or is this a bad sensor? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely it is low brake fluid and not related to the parking brake. There is a sensor that will trip the brake light if the brake fluid gets low. If it has been a long time since you have had new brake pads on the truck then as they wear down the brake caliper pistons stay pushe further out and more of the brake fluid is used at the caliper lowering the level in the resevoir. Check this out right away and add brake fluid up to the proper level.
