I have a 91 Mustang LX 4 Cyl with around 181,000 miles. Within the last few days, I've noticed a different sound coming from my Headers. It sounds like something is cracked and vibrating, kind of like a "clinking" sound. I pin-pointed it coming from where the header meets the downflow pipe. I tryed pushing on a few spots around the header, exhaust pipe, and catalytic converter, but everything seems to be clamped fine. When I rev the engine, I get more of a clunky broken-up sound, instead of the normal clean air-flow type of sound, if you understand that. Whatcha got for me?

HOW IS YOUR POWER? DOES IT FEEL NORMAL? WHEN A CATALYTIC COVERTER STARTS GOING BAD IT MAKES A SOUND LIKE THINGS ARE BREAKING UP OR RATTLING. IF THE COVERTER
IS GOING YOU WILL FEEL A LOSE OF POWER. WITH CAR RUNNING AND HOT TAP ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE COVERTER IF YOU HEAR MORE RATTLING IT WOULD BE THE COVERTER
