Hi Everyone! I have a 2002 Mustang, 50000K miles, V6. I LOVE MY CAR! But the other day, I made a sharp turn and bumped the bottom of the vehicle. Ever since then it has been soo loud when I drive it. I occassionally get a "lawnmower" like smell that emits from the vehicle. My gauges are showing as fine, and there is nothing hanging down under the car, nor have I seen anything leak out. My BF says it's my catalytic converter. Is he right? If so, what can I to not sound like a race car driver?

thanks!

IT may have a leak that is hard to see without a lift. Need to get it up and look at it.
