2000 Ford Mustang Starter

My car is having trouble starting in the mornings. It takes several times before the car will engage. I was wondering if there could be something wrong with the starter. It just recently passed an emissions test at the end of November.

Have helper hold key at start position-you check for power at the starter white and pink wire-got power replace the starter-no power check the starter relay, transmission range sensor and ignition switch.
