I have an 02 focus se. Recently I have been getting a rough idle after first starting the car after it sits overnight, like the the engine shakes and whole car vibrates.. Runs fine after the car reaches normal operating temperature. Anyone have any ideas what may cause this.

Engine running rough or misfiring can be cause by the following:

1. Defective spark plug
2. Inadequate spark/coil, defective spark plug wire.
3. Lack of compression
4. False air leakage.
5. Faulty fuel injectors.
6. Insufficient fuel pressure.
7. Contaminated fuel.
8. EGR valve that is leaking.
9. Oxygen sensors.
10. Throttle position sensor.
11. Idle air control valve.

This only happens when engine is cold. Car is fine after it warms up. Has new fuel filter, new plugs and wires, new air filter. Engine light is not on. I was thinking motor mounts maybe. Any suggestions. Anyone. Thanks!

No not solved. People telling me could be motor mounts. Wasn, t like it until my thermostat went, and I installed one from Canadian tire, but can, t see a thermostat doing that, even if it is faulty, don't think it will cause that. When I start on cold engine. Gets vibration throughout car until it warms up.
