Heater

I have 1999 ford taurus. 115000 miles. When turning on the heat the heater blows hot air for a few seconds but then cools off right away. The radiater has been flushed. Coolant is always full. Temperature gauge looks fine. blows very hot for first few seconds but stops

You may have a clogged heater coil i know this is a pain in the a__!!!!! but try pulling off the feeder hoses that go to radiator and from stat find something u can adapt from hose's to a water hose and flush both ways into a bucket if nothing comes out you have a stat problem or restriction in the neck at t-stat
