Heat/ ac has defaulted to defrost and turn selection switch does not change anything. Checked vacuum/air lines on switch, all connected. Can the main line be plugged from the engine?
any other suggestions?

Mike:
It sounds like a vacuum related problem. Chances are there is a leak under the dash, or the supply line from the engine has gone bad. With the engine running, you may actually hear a hissing sound from the leak. Check it out and let me know what you find. Also, if everything is good, the actuator itself could be bad, but that isn't usually the case.
