When I shift into reverse, it doesn't seem to want to engage and then when it does, it seems as if im driving a straight instead of an automatic. Then it starts to slip when changing from second to third. The transmission was recently changed out to a rebuilt one. I thought maybe it was the filter stopped up, could that be the problem? Thanks

Is there a warranty on the transmission? If so, I think you got a bad one. The slipping indicates a problem with the clutch packs. As far as the reverse, I think I understand what you're saying. If makes me thing there is a problem with the converter.
