How do i replace the maf on a exp

Engine Mechanical problem
2001 Ford Expedition Four Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles

My "Service Engine Soon" light came on and I took it to Autozone and had the code read. It came back
p0174 - which cross checks to replacing the MAF. Where is it located in the engine and how do I replace it?

Thanks for the donation

Your vehicle's MAF sensor is located in the air cleaner assembly, under hood. Below is diagram of the 4.6L engine's MAF sensor location.

Just remove bolts from sensor and disconnect electrical connections to replace MAF sensor. I also suggest cleaning related passageways to ensure it is free of any carbon build-up which may have been the cause of the sensor failure..
