I have a 1995 ford escort LX hatchback, 126000miles, automatic. No problems since ive had the car.

For a few months now ive been experiencing problems with my heater/ac. It would turn off and then just randomly turn back on. Now that I have been using the heat it would seem like when it would decide to shut off the vent would get warm but there would be no how air blowing out of the vents? I dont know what the problem could be?

Had exact same problem, blower motor under dash on pasenger side, very easy to replace along with resistor. Do both, it is worth it, can get resiter for 14. Oo at dealership and blower motor at car parts store for around 50. Oo. Three bolts and it drops down. If spinning thing inside blower motor frozen, doesnt spin easily definitely replace it. All should take less than 15 minutes to do. This is a common problem with this part, so good luck- let me know if I have been helpful
