Has been in the shop 4 times for this same problem. My a/c blows warm air no matter what setting it is on. From heat to cool. The 3rd time it was in the shop they found that my front seal on my compressor was leaking. They replaced all the seal and recharged it, and it worked for almost a year. Now the problem has reoccurred! I just took it to the shop less than 2 weeks ago and they put freon in it and said there was a leak somewhere but could not find it. It is still not working! What is going on with my A/C, and why can't it seemed to be fixed?

We need to start with checking the system pressure and confirm it is leaking again. We will find the system empty which means we need to then pull it into a vacuum and recharge it.

Here is a guide that will help with this:

When we recharge the system, we need to add dye back into the system. Then we need to start checking for where the leak is.

If they added dye to the system last time, then we can just jump to searching for it.

If the engine bay has no leak then we need to inspect the evaporator in the HVAC case. The best way to do this is to pull the blower motor out and look up in there and see if there is any dye.

I am attaching the info below on what possible causes are based on the pressures. Please run through this data and let us know what you find.

Thanks
