With a/c on air comes out defrost and not vents. Once in a while it comes out vents like it should but not for long, it goes back up to defrost/floor. What do I need to change/fix. And where is it under the dash? Please help. Thanks

This is normally due to the panel vent vacuum diaphragm either has a leak, the line to it has a leak or the diaphragm is faulty.

here is a guide that talks about this in more detail:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/air-vents-stay-in-the-defrost-position

Below you will find the process from the manual on how to replace this so that you can access it and check the vacuum line or replace it if that is faulty.

Please let us know if you have other questions. Thanks
