1998 Ford Contour LX Transmission

I am trying to figure out what is my transmission ID? On my 1998 Ford Contour LX. I know that they make about 3 or 4 different transmissions for this make and year. So I was hoping that if there was a way to figure out the ID without taking the tranny out?

Any help is appreciated.

Look on the sticker posted I think either on one of the front or rear doors or pillars, you'll see different items such as color, interior, springs, and also the trans code, get it and call the dealer or look it up in a repair book.
