I have a problem with the false code P0765 I replaced the whole valve body from another car with no problems. Can anyone help or give me an idea? The car goes from first to third gear without a problem but doesn't go to fourth gear and when removing a leg from the gas pedal the RPMs goes to 1,000. ATF fluid is perfect, solenoid for this error is in perfect condition works (have tested 4 solenoids for this error).

The code P0765 detects a malfunction with the “D” shift solenoid circuit. So, if we check the wiring from the control solenoid and the PCM and it checks good the PCM is bad.

Here is a guide to help you test the connections and the transmission wiring diagrams so you can see which wires to test:

You can get a pre-programmed PCM by searching Google or Ebay. I have included the location of the PCM and how to change it out in case you need it. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
