Engine seemed to run a bit hot, never had a light but I did have fluid drainage and the hoses were extremely hot to touch after a short drive. I replaced the thermostat and lower radiator hose and cap, went to drive the car it ran fine until I had to slow down for a red light or traffic then it would die, but would start right back up, I thought the carb was goen bad, fluding out or needed adjusting, but the next day I replaced the radiator cap again this time with a heavy duty one(higher psi) went to drive the car an she ran great never stalled out no drainage noticed, has anyone ever had this issue, or heard of this problem?

Sounds like carb mix screws need adjusting or maybe the idle speed is too low.

This may aid you if you can "translate" it to your vehicle. See this link

https://www.2carpros.com/questions/jeep-cj7-1985-jeep-cj7-stalls-when-hot

If you can't seem to

Get rid of yours and get a Jeep CJ, No translating will be necessary then!!! LOL!

Good luck, keep us posted on progress

Let me know if the info makes it run better.

That looks really sharp and cared for.

I'd say you might could swap it for a Jeep, I doubt the Jeep guy would turn his loose! LOL!
