All of my buttons associated with my steering wheel, including my stereo, and rear wipers are not working? And when I drive for a little while it turns on again sometimes? Wt do you think it can be? It doesn't have a check engine light but it says trans. Fail safe prog., Does tht have anything to do with it?

Don't know what kind of car you have but when multiple systems don't work it is usually due to a broken clock spring. That is a wound-up ribbon cable in a plastic housing under the steering wheel. As the cable continues to break eventually the horn and cruise control will stop working and the Air Bag light will turn on.
