Transmission damage

1984 Eagle 4wd automatic 90000+ miles

Towed it 200+ miles all four on the ground

car does drive now (has been sitting +- 6 months) got it running but looked like a leak underneath (smoke coming off the tail pipe) ...It was raining and late so I could not look under it. Dont know if it is tranny or oil but did I do damage towing it?

Chances are you didn't hurt anything by towing it. However, I need to know where the leak is coming from. Check if it is trans fluid or engine oil.
