My car was sitting beside where lightning had struck about 20 ft away and it tripped the anti-theft deterrent alarm, and it will not go off also replaced the throttle body because it had limited itself, I still can't get my diagnostic tool to read through the ECM. What am I doing wrong? Open voltage reference b circuit, replaced ECM still no signal from ECM to my diagnostic tool. Please help.

Wow, amazing! I hope no one was hurt. This could have caused problems with many things, but we should run the codes using a CAN scanner. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon. here is a video to show you how, but first let's check the ECM/TCM fuse in the fuse panel on the left side of the dash when you open the door.

Please use this guide to check the fuse.

Any instructions, about 20 ft away from my car when it did it thrifty the anti-theft deterrent and it has been going off ever since. I have replaced most fuses I have traveled down all the wires to find any wires that needed replaced any plugins that might have been loose. I replaced my car door handles, replaced the latch on the hatchback and the alarm still will not stop screaming. Well, my DTC codes are reading that the ECM is not communicating with my reader and says that there is an open circuit reference b.

Did you check all fuses with the system on? If all fuses are good:

P0651 - Sensor Reference Voltage "A" Circuit/Open:

P2106 - Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System - Forced Limited Power:

So these codes are telling us the PCM has shorted out, you can get a preprogrammed unit by searching Google or Ebay.

I've already gotten a replacement, so called already programmed, still hitting these codes even after resetting them. Now I've got a light beep coming on my voltage tester on both metal connectors under the fuse for the ip-fuse battery fuse plug in. My others on each side only beeps on one side.

Replaced battery fuse with original equipment hard to find discontinued parts. Amazon thankfully had this part. I may be wrong on the connections any chance of a diagram on this battery terminal set up. I took pictures but my phone did not save them because of issues with full memory.

I'm reading my online repair manual and it's telling me that I need two keys or transponders inside of my vehicle in order to program this car. My question is how do I know if the ECM that I purchased was programmed I'm just going by what they're telling me that AutoZone. Also I have checked all of the top side power and everything checks out I'm going underneath today to start that from the bottom side and I believe this may have something to do with the auto locks it's inside the ignition in the steering wheel column I may be wrong but that's where I have narrowed it down to without being said I need to get another key made for this car is there any way that you can tell me what the part number is for the transponder key so that I don't order the wrong one I said 2007 Chevy Aveo 5 hatchback.

You can get a transponder from Amazon; just put it in the car, you will have one. You can have a mobile locksmith come out to do the job/program the ignition key it should cost about $250.00. Also, I would scan the PCM to see if any codes are stored.

Okay, I've done all these. I need a screenshot of the fuse boxes. Both inside the car and under the hood. The alarm still is screaming, and the front driver tire will not turn when we pulled it to keep it from being a squirrel home. I've got a Haynes repair manual. But the book seems to leave out the hatchback in some scenarios. And also, will go into few details and then cut you off saying well you won't be able to do this, and you'll need to take the car into be on a computer. I have the software for these things so that gets me nowhere again. I'm leaning towards getting a completely new wiring harness. It's a fairly decent price online and doesn't entail a lot of rocket science. Any ideas please help. And just stay with me I'll get this car going. It has all new parts. No reason not to.
