When im driving my truck, not fast, just driving regular, or coming off a stop light or making a turn my engine stalls, leaving my tachometer at 0 my speed at 0 and my odometer will read " no bus". I lose my power steering and I have to let it roll to a stop put it in park and wait 5 minutes before it will start again. My brakes also lock when this happens. The amount of gas doenst seem to matter. It does it empty or full. Also it has backfired several times while driving it. 2 good mechanics have looked at it but can find nothing wrong. Obviously there is. Please help! Thanks

A bus failure is computer and module related, you will need to scan the computer for "B" codes. Either the instrument cluster is failing or the body control module. Or even the PCM.
