Coolant line from the radiator quick release is not working

It looks like a quick release, but it isn't proving quick to come off. Unscrewed it like they suggested to a previous poster, but it still would not come off. I called Napa and they said I need to buy a special tool. Really? Did anyone get it off without that tool? Do I also need the tool to get it on the new radiator? Hello,

You will need a quick release tool # 6935 (look at the picture below), in order to effectively take off the cooler line from the radiator.
The quick release allows plastic clips inside the connector to release and that lets out the hose from the connector.
