Replaced water pump, thermostat gasket and housing. Still have a coolant leak in front part of engine? Intake gasket? Would steel seal fix this problem?

Chances are it is the intake or the timing chain cover. Products that are designed to seal leaks usually cause other problems. Often times they will plug a heater core. Thus, I don't recommend it.

Go to the local parts store and ask if they will lend or rent a pressure tester and pressure test the cooling system. Pressure test the system to see if you can identify where the leak is. Also, they make a dye you can put in the system to check for leaks. WHen you shine a black light on it, it glows. You can try either.

Let me know what you find.

Hello,

Pressure testing the cooling system can help determine the issue.
Here is a helpful guide:

As mentioned by Joe using a dye can definitely make it easier to find a leak.

I have attached the replacement procedure for the intake gasket and timing cover below for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
