1991 Dodge Dynasty Engine cuts off unexpectedly
Engine Performance problem
1991 Dodge Dynasty 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
Engine dies during extended driving. Engine won't restart. After about 5 to 15 min the engine will start and runs fine for a while. (During a 6 hour road trip it died twice.) Very scary when on highway with trucks and other traffic. Engine does not seem to die on short around town trips tho.

It could be a fuel pump problem or filter. When the car doesn't start (or dies) you need to check to see if it is getting spark and fuel. One will be missing. Once that is determined, then we can begin eliminating things related to that problem.
Let me know what you find.
