Car runs OK when cold. As it heats up, the car loses power and won't run, like it is out of gas. Had it looked at by 2 mechanics. Replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, plugs, plug wires, rotor and catalytic converter is good. Could it be Fuel Injector Pressure Regulator?

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

You will need to get the fuel rail pressure tested to see if the regulator is working as it should, I would also be checking the coil when it heats up as it may be breaking down, it would be a good idea if you can get the car run on an oscilloscope hot to check the ignition system voltages, this will show up any problems with t he ignition.
