My brake pedal feels spongey and goes almost to the floor. The brake light does not come on. I have bled the brakes with no change, purged out no air. The pedal feels fine with the truck not running.

With engine running
pump the brake
and hold does the paddle fade away
and if so suspect a bad master cylinder

adjust if needed
and recheck for air in system
