I have a 2001 Dodge Caravan, 3.3L with 200Km. I am hearing a front end noise that sounds like it could be a wheel bearing but when up on a lift the sound seems to be coming from the "rear end" of the transmision. The transmission is shfting ok and doesn't seem to have any problems. Any way this can be isolated furhter?

to check the wheel bearings, have the vehicle up on a lift where the wheels are free, touch lightly on the spring as you rotate the tire, you will be able to feel the vibration throught the spring if the wheel bearing is going.
