While driving the car will just shut off going down the street. Or at a red light if it has to idle waiting for the light to change it will quit running.

Hello,

This could be a problem with your Crankshaft Position sensor (CKP) going bad. The CKP sensor is used by your vehicle's Power-train Control Module (PCM) AKA, "computer" to determine the speed of the crankshaft for engine rpm's and misfire monitoring. If the PCM does not get a signal from the CKP, it will not know if the engine is running and will think the car is off. When the CKP is starting to fail it will function properly when it is cold, but fail as it warms up. I have included a few links below for you to go to please:

Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out, please.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello again,

Also, is your Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) or "check engine" light illuminated? If so can you please get the Direct Trouble Code (DTC) for me. I have included a link below for you to go to if you are unfamiliar with how to do this:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

Please go through the guide, if needed, and get the DTC for me, if one is present, please.

Thanks,
Alex
