Have a crank no start; replaced throttle body, crank shaft position sensor and cam shaft position sensor but to no avail. It just cranks until I get a back fire through throttle body. Have fuel and have spark.

Good morning,

The first thing I would do is to check the compression to see if the chains have moved.

Backfiring is usually an indication of a timing issue.

Were there any codes that lead you to replace all those parts?

Yea, had a throttle body light pop up and I know Chrysler has an issue with the sensors so it was just a shot in the dark.

Got it.

I would start with the compression check to be sure it is not a timing issue.

So timing is good. Reset the timing tried to fire it up and almost started but it is still flooding out and backfiring. It will not bring any codes except p0700 which is a transmission sensor.

Okay, did you do a compression test to see if there is enough to let the engine run?

So no compression on cylinders 1, 3, 5, 7, 6, 8.
120 lbs of compression on cylinders 2, 4.

Okay.

You have internal engine damage. The heads will have to come off.

Most likely has valve damage from the timing being off.
