Hey I have a 1986 Chevy C10 truck and was having trouble with starting the truck up. It seems to have white smoke coming from the exhaust evern though it passed inspection, any ideas? Also the other day it took about 10 to 15 minuets of constant starting to get it started, also any ideas? I know its an old truck but I put in new spark plugs, shocks, air filter, oil filter, and also brakes.

Welcome to the forum, that white smoke doesn't sound good. Are you losing coolant? Sounds like coolant getting into the combustion system? Check compression, if too low, it won't start. You can also check for spark at the plugs, engine cranking. Check fuel. How long since tune-up?
