I have a 95 s-10 blazer that idles rough like a vacum leak, and sometimes seams to be at a loss of power under acceleration. It has new plugs wire, fuel filter, new spider, O2, fuel pressure regulator and converter is in good shape. I have found no vacumm leaks. It has the orginal fuel pump. Also the EGR has been replaced twice. Any good suggestions.

Hey. I feel your pain. If you have the original EGR valve on there, that could be your problem. The original was a bad design that allowed excessive carbon to build up and restrict the flow. I just replaced mine.

The bad thing about it is when you replace one thing, something else takes over the stress that caused that part to go. I don't know, maybe I believe in conspiracy theory. The blazer has quite a few little quirks with it that are just plain annoying.

For instance, the oil cooler line crimps that are made of aluminum. You know, what genius came up with that one. The bad design on the EGR valve. The spark plug that hides behind the steering column. I could go on and on. Our best bet is to just sell now and relax later.

Good luck
