2003 Chevy Impala periodically rough shifting

Transmission problem
2003 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

sometimes my tranny will slip when taking off from a stop. Also it will occasionally start shifting hard all the time then goes away. I have already changed fluid and filter. What's going on?

It sounds like the trans control module. Has the check engine light come on? How many miles are on the vehicle?

Thank you for answering my email, the check engine has not come on and there is a 100,000 on the vehicle.

Based on your description, I recommend having the trans control module checked. It is what controls the trans. My only concern is the slipping on occation. At 100K I wouldn't expect the trans to be bad, but it does happen.
