2001 Chevy Impala Problem pumping fuel

Hello!

Every time I get gas the fuel pump clicks as if it is full about every 6 or so cents of gas. I know that the tank is low, but it reacts as if it is full. Getting gas is a pain. Gas is now starting to spit back out of the spout while fueling

Where applicable, check the above. Any codes? All gas pumps are not created equal, some give me problems, others don't.
