stalloing while driving.please help

hello there.i have a 2001 corvette c5 with 94000 with a 5.7. my quesyion is that when i leave the house i after one mile of driving the car dies while i am driving and i have to pull off to the side of the road.after setting there for 15 or 20 mins the car will restart and go.this happens almost every time i drive .im sick of this car by now.sometimes it wont even do this at all.it took my 45 mins to go 5 miles yesteday.why does it stall so quick after i leave and the car isnt even warm yet.any help will be gratefully appreciated.thanks.

You need to have the fuel pressure check for a start.
