Corvette Stalling

Morning,

I have a 1997 corvette, Just over 100 K. It starts up and idles great, soon as I put it into gear and give it any gas, it will stalls. I tried serveral times with the same results. It will idle in park or N and I can even step on it, If I put it in gear It will idle, but once I give it any gas it stalls. Any idea's?

Rod I have a 98 and this happened to me. The car would idle but as soon as it hit 2mph it would shut off. This is a common flaw for these. The computer is reading that the steering wheel is locked even if is not and will automatically shut off the fuel to the engine for safety reasons. I had to have the steering wheel lock replaced. Check out all the blogs on steering wheel lock bypasses. Hope this helps.
