Brakes problem
1980 Chevy Corvette V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Had 4 new calipers and pads installed about a month ago. Now brakes are squeaking/sqeeling. Difficult ot determine which wheel(s) is making the noise. Happns mostly just as the car is coming to a complete stop. What/where do I look first?

Do you have ceramic pads? Standard pads have metal in them, You could try disc brake quiet on the pads, First remove the pads, after you remove them apply the disc brake quiet to the metal backing of the pad, DO NOT GET IT ON THE PAD FACE. What is happening is the pads a vibrating when you come to a stop. Good Luck, Lou
