94 Chevy cavalier 2.2L 5 speed with air. Air compressor locked up and blew the belt. I don't have time to replace compressor until June. Needs to be driven can I bypass the ac compressor as engine is current configured? WHat size belt will it take?

Hello,

Looking at the diagram (see below), it is possible to put a belt and bypassing the compressor.
Since the compressor is located at the bottom of the belt routing you should be able to use a smaller size belt and by pass it with out any interference.

As for the size of the belt, you will simply have to purchase a belt that is for a Cavalier that did not have factory A/C.
The auto parts stores will have catalog that will tell them which part number to use.

I have attached the diagram for your reference.
